The Social Society is a community of like minded individuals that want to give back to their community by pledging time, skills, expertise and voluntary hours to tackle local issues head on. We support six grassroots organisations each year to raise funds, expand on their skills, grow their projects, and raise awareness and do so by hosting a variety of fun social events.
Fancy helping kick period poverty in the butt at your Saturday morning boxing class? Support Dementia sufferers whilst gardening in the local allotment? Or would you prefer to devise the next fundraising strategy for the local food bank over a pint in your local?
“ Toni is such a warm, friendly lovely host...made me feel very welcome. I will definitely come to more events soon!"

Vanessa Thomas, Soul of the city choir
"Toni is one of life's doers. She inspires others with her determination, energy and enthusiasm and is passionate about developing services "
Heidi Payne, Demelza
Hi all, I’m a charity lead and meetup host living in Brighton. I am passionate about giving the vulnerable a voice and connecting communities, whether that be helping children with learning disabilities to sing, empowering the elderly in my community or simply shouting about a local cause, you 'll see me at the front of the queue. That’s why I've worked hard over the last few years to build the first weekday winners social group in Brighton. Today, I’m building my Mighty Network to connect people just like me to share ideas, campaign and give back to their communities through the power of social events for social good!
"Alone we can do so little; together, we can do so much" Helen Keller
